Los Pachucos Oil on Canvas , 3 'x 4', 1974 Los Pachucos is base on a black and white photo of my sister, Mary Ellen and my brother, Michael. This is how my brother and sister dressed when they went to school. I most remember my brother spending a lot of time on his hair and always wearing suspenders. Mary always dressed nice and always wore a cross. I intensified Michael's stair to make him look more menacing. This painting is part of the permanent collection of Michael Viramontes. |
